Tonight we are relaxing with a fine Willamette Valley Pinot Noir the 2014 Arterberry Maresh Maresh Vinyard Dundee Hills Pinot Noir. I'm loving the Willamette Valley Pinot's more and more each time I open one. Being compared to Burgundy and with every bottle I open goes to prove this to be true.

Arterberry Maresh is one of the oldest vineyards in the Willamette Valley with root stock over 40 years old.

On the nose is plush velvety fruit of bing cherry, cranberry, raspberry, vanilla, clove, truffles and some real nice earthy notes.

The nose is confirmed with tart cherry, cranberry, raspberry, clove, vanilla, mushrooms, and earthy notes.

The wine is well balanced accrossed the board with a medium to full supple bodied mouthfeel. Medium + acidity making the mouth water leaving you wanting more, fine mouth coating tannins with a.long unending finish that lasts well into the next sip.

Have a safe and enjoyable rest of the week. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Beautiful nose. Wild strawberry, cranberry, red cherry and raspberry. Floral and perfume. Damp forest and fresh herbs. M+ acid. M body and soft round tannins. Balanced with a long finish.

A gorgeous wine with reticent red fruits , minerals ,orange zest , wild herbs and a touch a spice. Ripe yet elegant on the palate with a lingering red fruit driven finish . A very Burgundian like effort with the only gripe being a little heat on the finish.

Way too young at the moment, but intriguing. Curiosity got the best of me. Changed every half hour in the glass. At first, tart strawberries, high acid, and stiff tannins. As things opened, the fruit shut down and was all savory notes with lip smacking minerality and acid. Second day, moved on to light cherries, with savory notes, minerality and acidity much more balanced. Also some hints of flowers and subtle spices in there. Should be interesting to see where it goes.

Sweet red fruit, good density without a lot of weight. Raspberry, cranberry, bramble fruit, orange peel and baking spice. Good match for the Thanksgiving meal

2014 vintage tasted in 2018. Ruby red, light bodied. Beautifully perfumed with red fruit, strawberries, vanilla. Overall an enchanting bouquet of impressive depth. Very nicely balanced bright red fruit, acid, and oak. This is a light bodied Pinot that punches above its weight. It has and will continue to age gracefully.
