Thoroughly enjoyed this Super Tuscan. Cabernet in the foreground, subtle tannins. Perfect with an Italian lunch. James Suckling 93 Pts seems a bit on the high side, but this wine hit the spot and jumped right out of the bottle.

Nice Super Tuscan value here. Dark fruit, earth and a medium body. Dry.

Smoky & vibrant nose with flavors of black cherries, strawberries, rosemary, and thyme. Very dry. Very good.

The 2007 Russo Toscano will always claim the throne, but the 2012 is not far behind. The taste clings to the glass giving a patron anticipation for the first sip. Luxurious velvety feel as this wine touches the tongue that gives off a clarity to the evening. Seamless blend of tastes and aromas complete the picture of delectable wine. This will top my list.

Not as complex as the brancaia but still kicks the dick of anything else from WA or CA at $20

A nice wine that I picked up at Mazzaro's Italian Deli/Market in St. Pete today. It nicely complimented the freshly made eggplant parmigiana that we bought.

Light red apple, red fruit, rustic, drying tannins, light spice. Not overly complex but decent value here.
