Really nice Spanish blend from the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. 80/20 Tempranillo/Cab Sauv. Earthy and leathery organics on the nose with nice fruit on the pallet. Well constructed wine. Could age a bit longer.

Light, drinks like a pinot. Medium tannins, low sugar, low alcohol. Ok drink for $20 from Costco

Lots of fruit and leather, not too dry. Great wine, but could probably be laid down a little longer.

Glad I have another bottle. This pup can go another five years at least. So tight when opened that I thought I'd made a mistake. 30 minutes of air and this opened into red fruits, leather and oak. Drinking well now but will improve with some age.

The 2010 is much superior than previous vintages. It takes a few minutes to open up and then is all balance with the wood, with spices and that long, subtle, meaty finish so typical of superior Riberas.
