Chuggable lighter weight Mencia from terrific producers, one from the Rhone. High acid, almost effervescent mineral notes, with bright cherry, white pepper, herbs, and violets... fermented in cement, some whole cluster. Delicious!

Deliciously ripe and juicy mix of black/blue fruit, backed by spices, herbs, and notes of warm earth. Very sleek and shows a quite side at this point, this needs a little more time to meld and unwind.

Cherries, raspberries, leather, dill, and hints of tobacco. Very easy drinking. Medium body, medium acid. On par with a great Crianza Rioja.
