First time with this producer. There’s focus and length down the palate, but a touch of breadth and ripeness in the fruit give it a generosity that helps balance the high acid. Almost curious if some other CdBfruit found its way in here. Some really lovely earth character of damp chalk and mushrooms add some nice complexity. 100 CH, barrel ferm, no malo, 5 years on lees, 0g/l dosage, back label says 4/2014 disgorgement it doesn’t strike me as having a lot of post-disgorgement development? Would love to learn more

Honey, bread, stony ”minerality”, a great creaminess and high acids; but the mousse is quite poor.

Happy face because champagne tastes better on New Years Eve. Fruit character, rich... I like it a lot.
