Totally different than the S.B. in the past - with a touch of Semillon, and this year absolutely no Oak, all stainless - really brings everything into alignment with some great focus. Fruity. Crisp, and refreshing, with a bit of familiarity to loire valley.. but less tropical note, more stone fruit and citrus.

Very important to know about this vintage. For the first time they have decided to ditch the French Oak, and go all Stainless Steel! What an improvement. It's a whole new wine for Amici and it is delicious, focused, and fruity. Not that I won't miss that Bordeaux driven style but this is now more like Sancerre.
