Structured, dense, minty. Firm and tense, almost chewy, with floral, sour cherry, and earthy components on a nervy acid spine. This packs a punch and really has quite a lot going on. Bright future ahead . Gorgeous.

Aug 8th, 2021Very complex and layered. Balanced with the earth and fruit, incredible length. Up there with the best Beaujolais. First time having and really amazing

Feb 14th, 2021Bright violet. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes an array of red and blue fruits, pungent flowers and exotic spices, and a smoky mineral nuance emerges as the wine gets air. Sweet, seamless and penetrating on the palate, offering juicy, appealingly sweet boysenberry, cherry and rose pastille flavors that deepen through the back half while maintaining energy. Shows fine definition and mineral cut on the strikingly long finish, which is given shape by silky, well-knit tannins. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, August 2021)

Blind tasting and ✅✅ correct varietal 😏 I am becoming a gamay-holic. Would drink both of these again but tasting side-by-side had the poor Côte de Brouilly cowering. @ my fave Dedalus, Burlington VT

Aug 15th, 2023Top tier gamay. Elegant, silky texture, medium plus acidity. I give this the edge over the Brouilly bottling from ‘18. Earthy tones in the background, packed with ripe cherry and raspberry notes. Picked up weight and depth with air. Smooth finish.

Nov 9th, 2020Blue and red fruity on the nose. Really sticks the landing when drinking a foillard. One of the better bottles we’ve had this year (our 3rd such)
