I tried this wine alongside a bunch of very good Barolos. A tough crowd from which to differentiate one. But this wine managed to do so by virtue of its extraordinary freshness: like sniffing a jar of Italian herbs that have had a bunch of cherries thrown in for good measure. A very unusual Nebbiolo but a fascinating one for sure. I'm eager to try other vintages of this singular wine.

Looks like the folks at Fantino Screwed up with the paper work and could not claim the Barolo Bussia denomination. Absurdly good for a vino rosso ! Good price and open now but really no rush.
