Ripe golden pear and baked unsalted almonds, tree fruit, lemon meringue, starbright, straw yellow in color, and a medium bodied, minerally, creamy mouth feel. This Soave has some acidity in its back pocket so definitely would pair well with seabass or sea scallops. Seams as though there is a slight oxidized feel to it, maybe due to air-drying the grapes before their pressed, similar to the process in making Amarone, resulting in its dried fruit profile, like dried figs and so on. I did enjoy it by itself though, quite a refreshing bottle, if I might say so myself!

A lot of pear but beautiful clean quality I expect from a Soave. I also get a hit of pineapple.

A white I like. And my wife liked. It was a bit citrusy yet smooth. So we will get it again.

Beautifully perfumed white with generous notes of white flowers, honeydew, citrus, and pear with background aromas of cantaloupe, minerals, apple, and Asian pear.

A very pleasant and refreshing wine when paired with a variety of food. Pear, honeydew, and some floral and herbal (like fennel) notes on the nose. Melon, a little minerality, and refreshing acid on the palette. Paired well with chicken in lemon butter and a mixed salad with vinaigrette. The acid in the wine disappears with high acid food, and the wine feels a little fuller and softer in the mouth.
