Surprisingly fresh and youthful. Very structured with enough generosity to make it a pleasure to drink. Even better in 5-10 years.

Nice experience. Hard to find any vintage burgundy worth a shit. Slight oxidation, but overall pretty good!

Perfect Duck a l’orange wine. Rustic, slightly dirty, but also charming old school red burgundy.

Seems closed. Or that it’s closing down. One dimensional.

Monday night and to start the week I have opened the 2015 Albert Morot Beaune Bressandes Premier Cru Pinot Noir. This beautifully aromatic and energetically palate pleasing pinot noir is a perfect way to start a week off right.

On the nose is beautiful red fruit, cherry, strawberry, raspberry, cranberry, barnyard, clove, cola, vanilla and cinnamon.

On the palate the beautiful red fruit continues through with cranberry, tart raspberry, tart cherry, strawberry, rose petals mushroom and dry earth.

This is such a pleasing wine that is medium to full bodied with medium + acidity and medium + fine-grained tannins that leads to a long fresh enjoyable finish. Have a great week and be safe doing it. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

I think this is about as good a 1er Cru from the Beaune as I've ever had. Beautiful structure with surprising depth and intensity. Just as good on the 2nd day.

Super silky texture. Fragrant style. Nice depth. Reference producer for 1e cru wines around Beaune. All grapes are destemmed, 50% is aged in new oak barrels. No filtration.
