Despite the 15.3% alc. this is very well balanced and should easily hold up for several more years.

2012, this is nothing short of amazing. Lemon zest and Graham Cracker. Hint crushed almond on the finish. Killer

Quite oxidised and sherry-like. Nutty and yeasty, past it, but fun.

Much better than the 2013! Floral citrusy aromas with spicy undertones. Smooth unctuous mouthfeel.

Absolutely fantastic - very likely the sweet spot for this one right now.

My amazing wife of 16 years (as of today) wanted an older roussanne to start off with. This 2011 is the oldest one we have in the cellar. The color as well as the nose are fantastic. The palate is a little flat, suggesting to me this is on its way to reemerging but not quite there yet. But, still a great way to start off the evening on a beautiful night in Michigan!

Drinking very nicely, and pairs well with melon and ham. Need to stop opening these though so I can try them with more age. Happy 4th!

An amazing contrast from the whites we had last week in Châteauneuf-du-Pape - not better or worse, just different. This wine is terrific, but will be awesome in a few more years.
