Nicely balanced CDR. Smooth, and pairs perfectly with hearty food - in this case Rouladen made by Oma.

Full bodied, fruity, and peppery with both baked and tart black cherry, blueberry, and plum. Solid tannins and enough acidity to handle most foods. Solid CdR.

I was sure there was more Mourvèdre in this as it reminds me a bit of drinking Bandol, lots of black pepper & tannin framing the rich fruit. Turns out to be 70 Grenache/20 Syrah/ 10 Mourvèdre. High quality CDR here.

This has all the hallmarks of a classic. Cherry, dark plum and leather on the nose. Big cherry fruit with a nice hit of pepper. And now the bad news: tannins are out of control. Shame, for this would be 91-93 points otherwise.

Single parcel just outside the CNDP appellation boundary. High-toned aromas, structured CDR with elevated yet ripe tannin. Kirsch, powdered sugar, lavender, stoney minerality, sweet spice. Great value, approachable

Rose, beef blood, earth, and dark fruit aromas turn to dark plums and blue fruit surrounded by svelte tannins.
