Les Charmes Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Seductive nose with very good complexity on the palate and a subtle minerality. Black cherry cola, black raspberry, exotic spices and a lingering finish.

Pale ruby, with heavy bricking on rim. Baking spices, almost honeyed nose. Strawberries, pressed berry liqueur, clove, anise, earth, sous bois, and maitakes. Sweet, supple, delicious.

2013 vintage. Pencil lead and earthy notes. That's great on the palate. Good concentration and nice acidity and depth of fruit. Long finish.

Perfectly balanced and understated Pinot with the full compliment of attributes. Delicate and precise. This could handle another ten years but it's drinking beautifully right now.

I have a little thing for Musigny... this one was lovely, bright and full of energy.

Deep ruby red. Matured raspberry. Liquor like. Red flower with vanilla. Quite elegant. Like ART. Earthy. Spiciness. Acidity. 19 @, Fred, 241220
