Plum, purple fresh fruit, dark berries, slightly tangy. Not too much oak and good balance. Very good.

Highly aromatic nose, one that is so powerful, you could smell it from across the room. Of blackberry blood, clinging to the eucalyptus trees.

Saline, blackberry, deep, brooding, spicy, heavy handed heat, finished by slate like acidity.

Wow. Amazing.
A glass held in the air for those we remember this day.

2005. Dark. Brooding. Inky. Delicious. Had it opened for two hours to decant and responded greatly. Tannins so mellow and the dark fruit intermingled with all the earthy funk. So so good

06' Agharta Black Label. 84% Grenache 14% Syrah 2% Viognier. Aged 52 months in barrel. Just absolutely unheard of for a California wine(possibly unnecessary?)

What a wonderful nose- Rose petals, violets, spices. The palate- Ripened-red fruits, licorice, earthiness, pepper. Light acidity/ tannins. A beast upon first sip. Nice and approachable with a 30 to 60 minute decanting... becomes a medium- bodied wine. I would drink them by 2019.

Very interesting... Crazy what 60+ months in barrel does to a wine.
