The new project from Rhys. Tasted on and off over a week. This evolved nicely.

Pale gold color. Nose of melon, yellow apple, ripe lemon with a little pungent character. Medium- body, salty and chalky palate that lingers on the long finish.

Three times I didn’t open a bottle. Trying to hold off after the shipment arrived. Tonight it was 90 plus outside so up the cork went. Glad I have some more bottles to savor over the next 4-5 years. It’s been open about 90 minutes and my appreciation is growing.

Lemon and a little white flower. Bright acidity. Not super big, but interesting. Giving the others more time.

Great first showing and first with this grape varietal. Not aware of age-ability with this but giving it a couple wouldn’t hurt.

Very interesting. New varietal for me. Might need to get acclimated.

I honestly don’t know what to make of this wine. Either it needs a shit ton of time or it just isn’t that good for the $$.
