Deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits, sweet spice and cedar. Flavors of blackberry and cherry, some herb with vanilla, oak and cacao notes, well balanced. Fine tannins, good mouthfeel on long finish ending with mocha and espresso tones. Has room to age. Tasting Sample. Nice but a bit pricey!

First of the blind tasting for Father's Day weekend.

Medium garnet to ruby red. Nose was soft with red and blue fruits, as well as some vanilla, cinnamon, and a touch floral from the bottle. Day two added a bit more oak influence. Wine gained some elegant and feminine characteristics on the nose with some air. Medium and well integrated tannins (5/10) and medium bodied. Palate had light layers of vanilla, red berries, blue fruit undertones, cinnamon and a touch of cola. More cedar with some air. Well balanced and smooth. Medium plus to long finish. Drink till 2019.

This was our first experience with Adobe Road. Definitely needed the air, from the start this was a little flabby and underwhelming, not what is expected for a huge vintage from a well known vineyard. With time it gained some soft complexities and integrated a bit more. Seems a lot older than a 2012, if you have some we would recommend drinking.

Plush, dense and extracted. Tasted many times with consistent notes. Excellent.

Rich nose of cassis maple syrup. Nice textured palete. Rich dark fruits wash over the mid palette, which finish with the slightest hint of stewed fruits.
Thank you to
@Martin G Rivard for the proposal.
Happy late valentines to one and all.

@Mike Rowe @Ron R @David L @Carl Fischer @Joe Lucca @Paul T @Greg Ballington @Terri Walker @Eric Shanks I used to buy this when Palmer Emmit & Michael Scarsone worked there. I think the quality of the wine immediately went down when they left & opened up their own shop: Judge Palmer👍🍷🍷👍 We all know how good that juice is!!

Cherries and red fruit hopping around. Big big cab and it really needs time to mellow out but it was great especially after having so many wines, this one popped.

Was a little lifeless. Good nose of leather, dried flowers, and dark plum. The pallet was just a bit flat. Also hate wax. Almost lost a finger…
