Simply solid carneros pinot. Dark fruit , silky tannins, great balance. A tad low in acidity, but for the price, outstanding!

Good for sipping or pairs with food. Tannins perfect for drinking now. Good nose with melon, berry and touch of tobacco.

It was cheap, so I didn't expect much. A lot of disjointed oak that comes out as a hickory smoke with medicinal aromas. Thought there'd be more fruit for something this young but it tastes older, flabby, and cooked with black olive and smoked meat flavors. Grippy tannins with a stemmy finish. Sorry, what varietal was this?

We were concerned that we had held this for too long, but were pleasantly surprised by the smokiness, the silkiness, and all around yumminess of this Pinot.
