Established in 1344, Chateau Mt. Redon is one of the oldest wine-producing estates in France and the largest single property in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. The vineyards are planted in the 13 grape varieties of the region. Complex bouquet of fruit aromas and spice. Raspberry flavors with floral nuances adding texture to the wine. Fine tannins with a lingering finish ending with mineral characteristics. Very nice!

Wow. We finished off the Janesse and my better half ran out to find another wine store and came back with this! Drinking perfectly even without a decant. Super smooth. Loads of cassis, hints of clove, low tannins and low acid, highish ABV for a CdP. Absolutely delicious.

Recorked and topped up at the chateau. This is in fantastic shape and will unlikely get any better. Good amount of rim variation but the core was a deep red. Nose was complex and mature. The structure had faded reveling a silky texture with incredibly sweet red fruit, truffles, and dead foliage. Wonderful length. #chateaumontredon #chateauneufdupape #rouge #grenache #rhonevalley #ctbucklinwine

Very typical and refined CNP that is very enjoyable if you like the style. I do. Expect perfumes that are delicate yet last long. The tannins are soft but the wine certainly has structure on the palate. I recommend this one. EB

Established in 1344, Chateau Mt. Redon is one of the oldest wine-producing estates in France and the largest single property in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Light Ruby with aromas of berry fruit, floral scents and bits of graphite. On the palate tart raspberry and strawberry flavors with a citrus tang, nice pronounced mouthfeel. Soft tannins, lingering ending with big mineral character, well done. Outstanding!

Bought this at the winery in 2012 and finally drinking it. 2007 is a ballin' vintage.

Definetely took its sweet time to open up. By the third day it was showing really well, too bad it was the end of the bottle.

Lean as all get-out especially for a white CnDP. Zingy apple and pear and wet stones.
