At the apex of Frappato mono-varietal wines for me, this 2013 shows blueberry, strawberry, spice and earth that fuse together in an elegant but persistent flavor spectrum. You have to pay attention, and when you do you are rewarded and reminded of Burgundy. Perfect acidity and a fine tannic structure.
