In a great place but probably just past its peak and in descent...catch it while you can if you have it. Fresh flowers, red and blue fruits, spice and game on the nose. The deep red and blue fruits balls up intensely on the front of the palate and dissipates slightly on the finish. Pretty good, especially for an 18 year old Chianti Classico. Leather, plum, tobacco leaf, earthy and dusty forest floor. The palate adds anise with an east going to medium finish. Don't wait as it likely won't get much better. #OLDwine #felsina — 11 years ago
