A delicious LBV Port to drink while the vintage stuff ages. The key to a good LBV is that it must have resolved tannin and an early approchability that the VPs lack when opened too young. Fruity, with black plum, cherry, and blackberry with licorice spice this one is tasting great now. It won't get better so if you have any drink up. Most LBV are not built for aging, but to consume in the near term when the fruit is fresh and the spirit heat is integrated best with the wine. #crasto #douro #port — 9 years ago
