Nice to drink a d'Yquem at the top of its game; this 75 was; superb, peachy actually in harmony with the botrytis aromatics which have subsided back to semillon honey; dried nut delicious, not overly coloured; just perfect with double cream brie; produced by locals when d'Yquem winemaker came to town with 13 and 05 to show; wow, #sauternes #bordeaux #botrytis #sémillon #sauvignon #dyquem #classy — 9 years ago
Lori grabbing our next bottle from our new wine wall. I have been enlightened tonight to find out that the Truman's wine postings are framed with magazines .... I am devastated. — 11 years ago
Amazingly pure and rich. Spiced black fruit and dash of coffee on the nose. Layered and complex on the palate. Crushed rock, tart black cherries and a wave of mint. Tannins are present but complement the total body of work. Mid palate I get a taste of grilled herbs maybe a little eucalyptus. Finish, tar and cedar are shining, Will age wonderfully for another 7-12 years to give the tannins time to mellow out. — 8 years ago
Despite all the great ratings, this just isn't for me. Was thinking maybe I'd mix it with Sprite and make a spritzer :P #classy — 8 years ago

light to medium body, good acidity, not fruity or sweet. who knew a cheap viognier would taste nice. pairs well with COSTCO LASAGNA. #classy — 7 years ago
