Tasty alone and refreshing with food, a bold and uncomplicated rioja. A burst of tart raspberries at first, not too sweet, fading to a juicy, lingering finish. The texture is medium-thin but with a creamy softness. Excellent value.

The one word that comes to mind is soapy. Got this at the local Aldi grocery store in Barcelona. Was only about 6 euros but it was one of the most expensive wines they had. Lite pepper tones and an overly clean finish. Not for me.
