This bottle is more silky and persistent than the one we opened 3 weeks ago. Might have to get a few more.

Richer and riper than previous vintages that I can remember... prune notes are prominent.
Update: so much better the 2nd day. Stewed fruit notes are much more integrated, and the wine is much more enjoyable. This is one to lay down for a couple years.

First time with the 2018 Produttori Langhe. This was rather shy and probably needed more time than our table was willing to give it. Dark fruited with some tar, freshly tilled…almost ashy earth. Hugely tannic. This is a grumpy wine right now. Did I mention it was tannic? A great choice now for the masochistic otherwise I would let these chill for a bit.

A little shorter than in previous years but still solid, especially with food.

Superb! Floral, strawberry compote. Looks like the 2018 Barbarescos will be very promising!!!

Langhe Nebbiolo. Good brick color. Nice tar and good minerals. Tart, bright tannins. Can taste the elegant Barbaresco family tree. From Flatiron Wines (maybe, it was sitting in the basement for a while). Happy New Year! 12/31/21

2021/8-9. Lively and bright, with transparent cherry, flowers and earth - a little leafy too

An exceptional value and probably my favorite bottling of their Langhe Nebbiolo to date. So typical - could certainly have mistaken for the general produttori barbaresco. At $23 just ridiculous- should have bought a couple cases. Interesting to see this is the clearly highest rated vintage of this wine on Delectable.

Strawberry jam. Cinnamon, tar, mineral component and a boatload of tannins.
