Happy Independence Day! Classic American Cabernet. This is probably more old school. Not heavy but packs depths of flavor and intensity.

14.3% ABV. Good aromatics, soft tannin, nice long finish, light oak. Very nice!

Good but not great. I expected better from this top producer. 2015 was supposed to be a great year for Cabs but you can’t tell from this wine. Soft tannins with a tart finish. Maybe it’ll be better in a few years.
