Oloroso Sangre y Trabajadero Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Palomino Fino

So multi-dimensional. The nose says, "Oh no, this is gonna be sweet, I wasn't prepared for this! Butterscotch, toffee." Palate says, "Mmmm, toasted cashews. Salty dry, and a tad sweet." This wine is like a teeter-totter between salty & sweet. Great pairing with Jamon & Comte. Excellent value.

Toffee, coffee, orange zest, walnuts. A perfect example of oloroso.

Amazing sherry at an unreal value. salty, orange, caramel.

Barely audible moans of pleasure. Sorry.

Good stuff. On the nose, sweet butterscotch caramels. Full on Werthers Original. You think you’ll be getting a mouth full of candy, but on the palate vibrant acidity, dry, candied pecans. So many layers. Great bang for the buck.

Interesting. Haven’t tried much sherry. Lighter body, but higher alcohol. Nice to have a glass.

Lovely oloroso—textbook balance and poise. Salty-sweet equilibrium.

Nothing like I expected. Dry. Orange zest, toasted walnuts, toffee, butterscotch, salt. Damn.
