2012 base vintage. Lovely bright lemon and slate. A peachy, fleshy note. Vivid and clear. Kinda dramatic and showy but with real substance and great acidity. Wow.

Finale bubbles from my favorite grower. Intense, complex and powerful. Apple tart tatin, tropical fruits, baked brioche, spices and a hint of caramel drizzle. Finishes with excellent length and focused acidity. 🥂

Aug 13th, 2020Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the disgorgement date but I know it is pre 2013. Aromas of baked apples , nuts and hints of oxidation. Robust acidity and complex flavors tease your tongue but somehow lacked the energy level I expect with this producer. Definitely more oxidative in the mouth then on the nose.
