Nicely balanced almost old world style Bordeaux blend. Nose has crisp cherry fruit, hint of violets, a little herbal wisp, and a well-judged modest oak note. Mouthfilling flavors but with a nice sense of lightness. Still some youthful tannin to resolve, which, together with the nice acids, augurs for a few more years in the cellar.

NOSE: blueberry, chocolate, light roast coffee, blackberry. Smells good!
TASTE: delicious. Blueberry, cherry, orange peel, clove and baking spices. Tannins are pretty mild and silky, bitter chocolate. Pleasant surprise. 91. Reminds me of some Washington wines I’ve had.

Love this Bordeaux blend! Finger Lakes is certainly doing wine really well! Great balance of tannin and acidity, not crazy in the oak and a smooth finish.
