A BIG BIG fruity oaky malo-lactic California chardonnay - an example wine. Nice straw yellow golden color. Delicious pineapple, oak, and alcohol on the nose. Tropical fruit, pineapple, acid, butter, caramel, toast, and oak. . Paired very nicely with a smoked turkey bacon on pretzel bread sandwich, and also sipped very nicely by itself. Love it! Possibly our favorite our favorite go-to-Chardonnay at this price point.

If I left you with the impression that our renovations were completed, think again... Why do I feel that the contractors keep taking hate-craps in our pool?
The powder room is still in flight, and god only knows if it will be finished in 2019.
I know my wine-snob friends will take a good swig of hate-O-rade before commenting on this post, but I don’t give a shit. I like Mer. It’s well constructed. This vintage is textured, layered and a touch exotic. The nose displays pineapple and mango. Palate presents butterscotch and rich oak. Finishes with bright acidity and beeswax. For the duckets, this is tight.

Wow, fruit on the nose, pineapple (?), buttery, oaky Chardonnay. Really good!

rich, full, creamy. baked apples, lemon curd, bit sweet on finish. Great for those that like 'oaky' chards, I'm letting my preference bias my review!

We had the 2015 Vintage on 6/17-18/20. A good California Chardonnay. There were tastes of lemon, oak and vanilla. Not too heavy nor acidic. One day, I hope to get to Santa Barbara.

Buttery and oaky. Pears, lemons and vanilla. Balanced and soft. Nice.

Barely on the edge of dry, especially for a Chardonnay. Not oaky at all, very good bridge between a Pinot Grigio and a true Chardonnay.
