Deep Ruby with aromas of red and black fruits and oaky spice. The palate shows cherry & raspberry flavors with earthy tones, oak & cinnamon, a bit acidic. Full-bodied, fine tannins, medium finish ending with overly spicy character. Tasting Sample.

What a good little Pinot to have! Earthy, forest floor notes on the nose with Bing cherry flavors, spicy notes and a good little finish. I'm a fan!

I've enjoyed tasting through Raptor Ridge's current releases, which always strike me as being produced in a manner that is both thoughtful and sensitive. That being said, the aromatics on this 2012 Chehalem Mountains Estate Pinot Noir are heady, so much so, I can pick up lush black cherry notes wafting from the glass some two feet away. Add to this, black licorice, vanilla bean and baking spice. On the palate, it's silky and supple with moderate acidity and more pronounced woodsy notes and steeped black tea at the close. 14.1% ABV | Sample

Like fading autumn, where the sun hangs low against a clear November sky, the 2013 Raptor Ridge Pinot Noir Barrel Select offers integrated, finely wrought aromas of red cherries and dried mushrooms, decomposing leaves, woodsy trails and campfire smoke. And yet, it's stunningly fresh on the palate, with vivid acidity lending tension to layers of red fruit and dulcet, savory tones underpinned by iron ore, brown spices and earthiness on the finish. 12.5% ABV | Sample

Super balanced fruit and acid. Drinking well now, but should age very well.

Maybe one of Raptor Ridge's best to date. Amazing complex aromatic profile. Subtle, intriguing red fruit flavors with a very pretty texture & finish. Wow.

Brown spices, red berries. Fine tannins, fresh acidity. Precocious.

Enjoyed this wine. A lighter wine as expected. Oak, cherries. Had with a blackened chicken goat cheese salad, paired well. Would have again
