What a good little Pinot to have! Earthy, forest floor notes on the nose with Bing cherry flavors, spicy notes and a good little finish. I'm a fan!

I've enjoyed tasting through Raptor Ridge's current releases, which always strike me as being produced in a manner that is both thoughtful and sensitive. That being said, the aromatics on this 2012 Chehalem Mountains Estate Pinot Noir are heady, so much so, I can pick up lush black cherry notes wafting from the glass some two feet away. Add to this, black licorice, vanilla bean and baking spice. On the palate, it's silky and supple with moderate acidity and more pronounced woodsy notes and steeped black tea at the close. 14.1% ABV | Sample
