On the palate flavors of apple, pear, lemon citrus zest and melon, complex, mineral tones with soft creamy oak and sweet spice. The wine was fresh, with vibrant crisp acidity, well balanced on a long finish ending with fruit and floral notes. Has some mid-term aging potential. Outstanding!

Vertical of 12, 07, 02, and 97. In the oldest 2 fruit became more precise as tannin melted and and structure integrated around the ripe plum cherry and strawberry. The lush fruit combined with cedar and sanguine tones, actually reminded me of pomerol.
