Pinot Noir

Brambly fruit and sandalwood. Reminds me of Calera. Hides the 14.5 abv impressively.

Good flavour, good freshness, but alcohol far too evident, kind of overwhelming the wine enjoyment. To be reviewed again I guess

Opened in 2023. Didn’t stay put as much as I would’ve liked, might be storage issues. Remember tasting this in Tasmania and fell in love, however in 2023 it didn’t hit the same.

Brambly dark and lean. Drinks a bit like young Bonnes Mares.

Not what I expected from tassie Pinot noir very dark rich and jammy lacking the freshness, not sure what other years are like but for me 80 bucks was steep

Brett, saddle leather, wild strawberry, dark, viscous

Full bodied, small goods, smoky, plums. Very good

Not your typical Pinot Noir. With 14.5 % slightly too much for my liking, quite a full bodied wine. Compared to European Pinots unbalanced, probably best drunk young, same vintage 12 months ago was significantly better.

Very nice. Smoky on the nose and then a very well balanced wine on the palate.

Just emerging from a few years slumber as it went through a bit of a 'dumb stage'. Emerges softer, less ball tearing and more complex. I suspect it now has 10 very interesting years in front of it
