A nice Meursault right out of the bottle… and had an appealing long finish. but lost its mojo surprisingly quick… next day it was flat and gone… even poured it out. 😢

Deep lemon in colour. Some lemon/citrus notes. An oxidative savoury milky note showing its on the slide. Last one I had was in 2013 when my note said drink the next one soon. Got lost in the cellar and now happy to drink it but could not leave any longer. Starting to show its age.

Star bright straw gold. Nose and palate of baked quality nice and lemon pith. Full body on the tongue buttressed by medium plus acidity. Medium long finish adds dried white flowers. This is a wee bit young, to be sure, but all of your winter poultry and shellfish dishes will find this a great match. Wait a few years and it’ll be upscale only. Your choice.

May be my new favorite. Mineral, good tongue feel, not to sweet or dry. Just right. Had it with escargot and white wine cream sauce & mussels. Just divine.

Aged for about 10 months in French oak (15% new). Vibrant pale yellow with citrus, earth and floral notes, elegant nose. On the palate, ripe apple and earthy mineral notes with a very light touch of wood, almost buttery sweet. Nice acidity balance ending with a whiff of nutty smoky notes, lingering. Very Enjoyable! Tasting Sample.

Needed about a half hour open to come around. Lemon pound cake with butter.

The Interview with a Meursault 2007. The film, all dick jokes and farce. The wine deep quince and citrus, bold acidity very nicely scripted.
