About ten years ago I had the opportunity to buy a large cellar of Giacosa wines. But I had to take the whole thing. In the cellar, there was a case of this wine, which I know nothing about at the time. Very little was written about the vintage upon release and the little info that was available described a very weak vintage. Big, rich and powerful. Great depth. Complex. Needs to 2023 to really start to open. Lovely.
