67% Cab 33% Syrah. Nose- Opening a can of tennis 🎾. Forest floor, tobacco leaf ,spices, plums, black olives. Edit- After a good decanting it blossomed. Drink them up in the next 3/5 years.

Haven't quite understood why anyone would want to blend Bordeaux with Rhône varietals. Getting that undesirable green vegetal flavor, but otherwise drinkable. Smooth tannins and long lingering finish.

Jul 18th, 2016Nice wine but tasted a little harsh. Surprising sharp edges for a 07. I would think it would have calmed down and better integrated. Not as good as the 05 for instance. Still a nice and enjoyable wine.
