Light-hearted in color; nose is sweet with ripe raspberries and lingon berries, mint, and greenish herbacious notes; on the palate are some fruits but lots of minty herbs and eucalyptus, acid levels are high and the finish is kind of bitter. Not faulty but not very well made IMO.

Sipping Fine Wine

Since 1987, winemaker Rollin Soles and viticulturist Allen Holstein have teamed up to produce wines from low-yielding vines, receiving11 Wine Spectator Top 100 designations. Aromas of berry fruit and herb citrus notes. On the palate cherry and blackberry with orange citrus, spice and toasty oak notes. Fine earthy tannins, lingering ending with earthy mineral notes.

Meh. Zippy acid and then nothing. Falls really flat.

Basic Oregon Pinot Noir. Drinkable but not in any way worth seeking out. Overpriced. At least it is not over oaked or over extracted

Blueberry, bright cherry and vanilla on the nose, with some grassy notes. Palate is bright with young fruits: sour raspberry and cherry. Wine drinks very hot, with alcohol and bitterness really swamping the fruit. Quite expensive for what you get.

2013 very light, not enough flavor/body. Tastes like water downed wine, cannot drink.

Very light wine, but pretty. Eminently drinkable, great food wine. Will definitely be buying more of this.

Earthy cherry nose and palate with good acid. Burgundian in style. Very restrained for an exuberant vintage. Solid but not super exciting. Slightly one dimensional.
