Light ruby in color with a light brick rim and light intensity.

Earthy nose of cherries, strawberries, wet leaves, sour raspberries, oak, leather, violets, licorice, bitter herbs, bell pepper, earth, forest floor, smoke, cotton candy and light black pepper.

Light to medium bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry and earthy on the palate with strawberries, raspberries, cranberries, oak, vanilla, licorice, barnyard, cloves, earth, leather, green pepper, chocolates, smoke, bitter herbs and peppercorn.

Medium finish with extremely soft tannins and tart pomegranates.

An interesting Pinot Noir from new Zealand. A Good food wine. Good by itself too. Fruity, light and earthy and somewhat tart and spicy.

Good quality but not my style. At $28, I think it's too pricey. I Paired it with a light chicken dish.

13.5 % alcohol by volume.
