Star bright straw gold. Abundant nose and medium bodied complex palate of Royal gala apples and dried white flowers. Firm acidity from entry to moderate finish. The CSM/Dr. L collaboration never fails to satisfy. Still some of the best Riesling coming out of Washington. Enjoy with a wide range of foods including your Thanksgiving table. Drink now through 2028.

Bright, light yellow. Gingery Granny Smith apple, lime and minerals on the nose, plus a whiff of orange blossom. Round on entry, then sappy, supple and intense in the middle palate, showing enticing mineral and spicy lift to its very pure citrus fruit and apple flavors. There's substantial residual sugar (16.9 grams per liter) here but brisk balancing acidity (8.6 g/l). The element of saline minerality carries through on the long aftertaste, titillating the taste buds. This, too, is a steal for the price and pretty irresistible right now. And that's almost a shame, as this Riesling has a track record of gaining in interest with cellaring. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, December 2020)

A nice effervescent, viscosity driven wine. Honeysuckle, oiled nose and bananas and caramel. Baking spices and snickerdoodle cookie snuck in somehow.

On the drier side thankfully. Apple, pear and touch of citrus. Very effervescent though. Would have never guessed it was a chateau st michelle. I probably wouldn’t have tried it if I knew that before hand. Not bad.

Pale lemon in color with a yellow tint.

Fruity nose of lemons, citrus, diesel, grapefruits, honeysuckle, light tropical fruits, minerals, pineapples, white pepper and sea salt.

Medium-bodied with racy acidity, crisp and refreshing.

Dry to off dry on the palate with citrus, limes, grapefruits, green apples, sea salt, spices and white pepper.

Medium finish with limes and minerals.

This is an above-average Riesling from Washington State. Not fully balanced, but very enjoyable by itself or with food.

Would pair very nicely with spicy seafood or spicy Indian food. A good sipping wine by the pool or by the porch on a warm day. Better when properly chilled.

I had it all by itself with good company and great weather.

A fine collaboration between Château Ste. Michelle and Dr. Loosen.

This is a good opportunity to age an inexpensive Riesling for another 5 years. I bet it will be delicious.

12% alcohol by volume.

86 points.

$20.

Tastes of an American Riesling: honey, petrol, herbs, acid, minerals, in that order, each reduced by factors of 10. Nose of a Austrian/German Riesling: deep oil-slick nose and Bouquet de Garni. Conundrum...perhaps...but delicous!

I've always loved this wine. It will take you to the happy place. Rope, rich and round- just a wonderful example of what can be achieved with extraordinary cooperation.
