Drank 12/29/22.

Scents of black cherry and blackberry are present, but not abundant. Flavors of cherry, blackberry, cocoa, and tar. Tannins are still quite firm at this point. Give it some air.

3/21/7/4/4 + 50 = 89 pts.

Dark ruby with near black core. Black raspberry, black cranberry, and ash lead the abundant nose. Medium full palate echoes the nose adding firm tannins from entry and hints of berry compote and birch. Finish is long and dark. Antinori’s Nobile arm has a rich history and under their watch is producing as expected. A fine expression of Tuscany’s Duke that’s ready for hearty meat dishes now, but can lay down for a decade or so. Drink now through 2030.

Pairs well with every entree. Fish to steak. Alfredo to pesto to marinera. Perfect acidity. This is the crap shot wine. Cheers!

15.5/20 (88/100)

Полный цвет. Умеренный аромат, чистый, аккуратный, со сладкими черными ягодами, сладкими пряностями, чуть пикантный. Тело умеренно плотное, вкус полный. Хорошо.

Walnut husk, violets, spice, rhubarb and raspberry compote. Prominent acid and suede like tannin with liquorice, fennel, earth and red fruits coming to the fore on the palate.
