Estate Bottled Goldridge Vineyard Syrah

Big wine really opened up after a few hours likely could have had more time and a decanter but just lovely

Damn good wine. Drink now.

Held up pretty well, but Bret conquered in the end. Still had some nice earthiness, spice, hint of fruit and tobacco. The acid kept it alive. Interesting wine.

Smooth. A little funk. Juicy berries. Judith likes it ALOT! Nice depth.

Nice hint of funky Frenchy type bret. Very nice now. No reason to hold longer.

Good Syrah, with perfectly smooth tannins in the finish. Consume immediately upon opening since it quickly lost its flavor. But nice and strong when first opened. Spicy and peppery.

Damn this was good. Was it a N Rhone, of course not. It still provided me with that savory element I enjoy about N Rhone. Light on its feet, balanced and juicy. Oh and the $ it cost me…all the better. It scratched that itch.
