Always great wine with a lot of dark fruits and a mile long finish — 9 months ago
I'm glad I waited to open this one up next day even better — 3 years ago
Black cherry cola aromas. Rich blackberry flavors. Long finish w still some tannins to resolve — 2 months ago
Nose of red fruits (strawberries, cherries), Provençal herbs, sometimes mint and sage. Taste flavors of black/red cherries and berries, with baking spices (cinnamon, nutmeg), mint, and gentle oak. Long finish with lingering with herbal, citrus, and spice nuances. Could easily go a few more years but why wait. Still have a few more bottles in my cellar. — 8 months ago
There’s a lot of cedar and berries with a hint of veg in the nose. The taste showed the same with some sweetness than tannins and some sourness in the finish. I did like this wine but I look at wines in my cellar a bit differently now that I’m over 80 and think I should have drunk this sooner. Still have the 2014 and will get that shortly. If you have any of the 2013 drink up. BTW, did a hard decant about an hour before a Wagyu steak dinner and saw no changes from opening to finishing the bottle.

2018 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 45 minutes and 1.25 hours. Medium/medium-heavy body. Dropped the overt weight and starting to get more chiseled. The usual fruit and spice suspects without surprises. Would love to hit this in 8-10 years. Too well-balanced currently so it will be a difficult task to accomplish. 01.16.26. — 8 days ago
