Winner of the night from the Legend Imports wine dinner at Peasant featuring a variety of beautiful wines from Australia that are not mollydooker penfolds or yellowtail.
This wine was described as Australian Montrachet and boy was that right. Anyone tasting blind would’ve picked burgundy.

Excellent along with the Feast of the Seven Fishes. Kinda cheated and went sashimi as opposed to cooking and some shellfish. Caviar/cockles/mackerel pate/octopus sashimi/salmon sashimi/yellowtail sashimi/tuna sashimi/stir fried clams. The extra “fish” hopefully makes up for the cheating ;) — 4 years ago

Just brightness in a bottle. Had at Morimoto In Vegas with a variety of foods (steak, pork belly, and yellowtail) and held it own with all. Melon and sweet lime. — 3 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2023 Sketch pours a bright, pale straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is youthful with beautiful notes of white and yellow flowers, lemon, passion fruit, orange zest, ocean spray, and wet stone. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and saline. This was divine with raw oysters and yellowtail crudo. Drink now through 2038. — 2 months ago
