Bought while it was on sale. One of my favorites for the price. — 8 days ago
Nice for VQA, but not sure it would be a staple at $19. Will try again and be more diligent about comparing to imports. — 8 days ago

Tasted double-blind. The 2018 Quivira “Fig Tree Vineyard” Sauvignon Blanc is a beautiful follow-up to the growing legacy of world class Sauvignon Blancs being made year after year by this under-the-radar, biodynamic producer in Dry Creek. On the nose, this is striking with generous character. Lemon basil, lemon grass, oregano, grape fruit, goat cheese and gym sock on the nose. On the palate, this is a delicious and highly energetic wine with laser focused citrus fruits and minerals. High acid provides and long and satisfying finish. I guess this wine sees a kiss of new oak but the use is deftly judicious. An absolute stunner. Since 2017, Quivira’s single designate Sauvignon Blancs have been among the best in California under $50. — 14 days ago
