A great discovery in Avila Beach (Central Coast, CA). This is a San Luis Obispo country fruit that that behaves like a lush SLH Pinot vibrant. Big strawberry. — 10 days ago
What more is there to really say about the Marc Hebrart range of grower champagnes? Beautiful, beautiful wines and always so much fun. The fun continues here.
A delicate light pink color with a constant stream of fine bubbles. Smells of summer. That memory with the pretty girl on the beach, that’s what you get here. Cranberries and wild strawberries mingle with herbs and chalk. Loads of minerals and a bit of honeysuckle. Toast, cherries, and really pretty orchard fruits.
Balance and precision. That’s exactly what you will find here. 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir from Mareuil-Sur-Aÿ with 6.5% of the Pinot vinified as still red wine in neutral oak. Such striking depth and sleekness. Those summer berries dominate the palate but always maintains focus. Subtle herbs and spices with such purity of fruit. Really beautiful. — 6 days ago
Reminds me of Pinot from Martinborough NZ. — 13 days ago
Bright and peachy. Tastes like a beach day. — 6 days ago
Light golden in color with a yellow hue.
Pretty nose of tropical fruits, citrus, yellow apples, melons, pears, bananas, pineapples, spices and white pepper.
Medium bodied and refreshing with bright acidity.
Dry on the palate with grapefruits, limes, lemons, green apples, spices and bitter herbs.
Tangy finish with limes and grapefruits.
This is a nice Albariño from California. Good by itself or with food. Tasty and tangy. I really enjoyed the nose here, even more than the palate.
Feels like a Sauvignon Blanc with a twist. Very interesting.
Refreshing and good for parties or the pool. I had it all by itself by the beach.
A small production of 307 cases.
14.2% alcohol by volume.

Floral. Delicious. Lots of sediment but enjoyable — a month ago
2004 Vintage. 15.5% Alcohol. Magnum shared with Stanley, Elena, and Chris at Top Winery in Paso Robles. Amazingly fresh, love mags. At peak now and just mind blowing. Loved the Top and Hood wines as well. Our thanks to Elena and Stanley for sharing a Crossed Fingers to compare and contrast. I didn’t get my request in before that sold out. Finished the mag with a great Mediterranean takeout dinner from Oasis in our room at the Seacrest hotel in Pismo Beach. — 6 days ago
Sick nose. The class of Felsenberg really shows well. Melon. But sick melon. Lanolin. Really clear and well defined. Spice. Almost a hot pepper spice. Enveloping nose. Wow. So intense. So mineral. So complex. So closed. So piquant. So elegant. So textured. So long. Nose is airy and spacious. Huge concentration and purity. Saline a f. Long long finish. Really salty. Nose keeps opening and is so ocean air. Just sitting on the beach. Wow the intensity on this is no joke. So long. Fruit (pitted stone fruits) starting to show on the finish. Really pretty.
After air this this is so classy. So refined. Pungent aromas. Wow. This is the best so far. — 7 days ago
