Say as could not say Saybritz on the label on ’19 (declassed to a Landwein so no vineyards denomination allowed).
This is a beauty! Filigrane & aetheric with light red fruit, a hint of sweet cherry & damson plum with some flower whiff. Fresh & so pure but also with some mineral energy underneath.
On the palate this shows amazing depth. Great purity and precision - rather light bodied with finely polished tannins and fresh acidity. Light sweet cherries on a rocky, slatey undercore with just a pinch of allspice. Poised, elegant, with great energy & length.
The benchmark for Eisenberg Blaufränkisch? A stunner. And for this quality, a bargain! — 4 months ago
Fresh damson plums, black mulberry, Zwetschgenröster, and some fresh herbs & spices - sage, allspice.
On the palate this is light with lively, juicy acidity, a nice tannic grip, a fresh, mineral finish.
Has a inky, slightly wild side to it, but overall a very complete & elegant Blaufränkisch. And drinking so nicely right now! — 2 years ago

Dope red, with a chill on it was very refreshing, fruity, light bodied. Type of red I love, didn’t taste super dark or overly earthy. Easy to drink, felt simple enough to enjoy w/o knowing much about wine’s. — 6 months ago
Super dry. Cranberry flavor I didn't hate (cranberries are bad). — 8 months ago
It’s not a red. It’s not a rose. It’s a rosed? Very drinkable chilled. Sort of smells like strawberry watermelon lemon jello. It sort of taste like cranberry juice with a splash of lemon, watermelon and apple juice (?). There’s some ocean spray salinity and good acidity. It paired well with ground pork sausage and rosemary pasta. I’m not sure what to make of this, but it’s definitely something I can enjoy on a warm or cool day, for no reason. — 4 years ago

Fresh, vibrant, a bit funky and cloudy. Fresh, slightly macerated strawberries, a bit of moss, undergrowth and red tree bark. Zingy in the palate, highly drinkable, a touch funky.
Closer to NZ than Burgundy or Germany.
Nothing overly sophisticated, very much a glou-glou wine - fun, easy, disappears in minutes. — 3 months ago
