Pinot Noir 2022. Nose: vanilla, ripe cherry. Taste: leather, vanilla. Very good Pinot, enjoyed that it wasn’t full body red. — 2 months ago
Got ahold of three of these allocated babies that get sold out every year by spring.
Volcanic must, spicy berries on the nose.
Wohooo what a mouth punch. Prickly on the tongue. Bracing acidity balanced with an earthy, breezy cherry and berry medley. An herbaceous, mint-adjacent undercurrent as well.
Both stunning, subtle in its way, and stunning in fruit quality and minerality — 9 days ago
Big bold Zin!! Great nose and spicy peppers on the finish. Ate with great steak. Reccomend for sure — a year ago

Second wine of Chateau Phelan Segur wine, deep Ruby red color, with aromas of ripe dark fruits, spice and floral herbs. On the palate flavors of blackberry, plum with cacao, toasty oak and cinnamon spice. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, smoky spice, oak and earthy mineral character. — 22 days ago
A nice Riesling from my favorite NY state winery. The has note of grapefruit and lemon with good acidity and minerals. Always enjoy visiting the winery. — a month ago
Dark ripe fruits (cherry, plum), bit of oak, leather, hint of dark chocolate. Lovely and full of character. — 3 months ago

Clear, deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary and secondary aromas of blackberries, cassis, and pencil shavings; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of black cherries, black currants, eucalyptus, and wet gravel with a medium finish. This wine is balanced, complex, and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as outstanding. Nellie says it's ok. — a day ago
