Sampled at coffee grounds. Bright and sour, would definitely buy! — 9 months ago
At a beautiful spot. Nice golden color, fragrant minerals laced nose and tingling texture into long finish. Went nicely with variety of Indian dishes from Rasa for Leila’s one day early dinner with Cindy David. — 3 years ago

Amazing wine. Aroma is honeydew, apple, pear, apple blossom, honeysuckle, orange flower water, and even a hint of minerality in there. Palate has the same notes in the aroma, wine is a bit sweeter than I usually go for but not unbalanced with the acidity. Took down two bottles of it and could do more. Will drink again — 3 months ago
Tropical and citrus aromas, a rounder body and more subtle acid than expected from a Sauv Blanc, and rich tropical fruitiness. — 2 years ago
At a terrific spot, just gorgeous mature Riesling all around with a particularly lively and vibrant texture. Amazing how these Kabs hold up so well. Perfect with hot pot dinner for MM and Ben visit. — 3 years ago
I’m baaaack! I’m sure no one missed me but I’ve been off the app for a while. Lots of life happening. So. Decided to jump back on due to a new to me Rose’ that I discovered. Germans can make wine! This is a wonderful deck wine with all types of food or by itself to celebrate the end of a long day. Everyone has described this wine spot on. For me though I get a slight hint of cinnamon on the end and the acidity is primo with smoked meats or a nice charcuterie! Love finding new gems! Enjoy. PS. I love this super-chilled but it is good at room temp as well. Thanks for putting up with the amateur!!! — 6 months ago
My first time trying a Grosses Gewächs from the Mosel is this 2019 Erdener Treppchen from very old, ungrafted vines in the tender care of Ernst Loosen.
I popped ‘n poured this wine on the first night, which you should never do with young Riesling. Thus, it was very reserved on opening, but by the second day it’s a moderately pungent affair with bags of Mosel character. Obvious notes are fresh lime, crisp apple and wet slate, as well as lemongrass and petrichor. The palate is full-bodied, with generous flavours of zesty lime and ripe, crisp apple, even some raspberry, and such is the concentration of fruit and this wines aromatic profile, there’s a slight perception of an off-dry character which only adds complexity. The supercharged acidity contributes to a lasting finish.
This powerful, utterly gorgeous wine from the warm, successful 2019 vintage in the Mosel is in an embryonic stage of its development and will age superbly. — 2 years ago
A nice semi sweet wine that is not too dry — 4 years ago
