The best Riesling I’ve ever had in my life. We had it for Thanksgiving. It was great with turkey and gravy. — 7 years ago
Stunning wine. Lime zest, lime flesh, slate and even a hint of petrol which is odd for such a young GG but it still has the aroma of youth. Palate is all elegance and angles. Gorgeous texture and juiciness and wonderful freshness. Glides like a snowboarder on fresh powder. Needs to open up on the finish but it’s all there. Gorgeous lime, peach and even grapefruit. Sweet red grapefruit. Awesome acidity and it’s got remarkable clarity. A day later this is really coming into its own. Nose is so Mosel. Just textbook. Slate, Rain. Like a scene in nature. Lime oil. Palate is round, energetic and has a super tangy grapefruit inflected finish. Genius wine but does need age. — 4 months ago
The nose shows lemon zest, pineapple and a petrol note. The palate is made of a massive acid backbone, some lemony and yellow fruits notes all along, it's vibrant and almost tensed and finishes with a nice long zesty and fresh note that holds for a while. Super dry Riesling that's true to its type. First one of a list of 8 German rieslings I recently bought to study some more 😊 — 3 years ago
Bernkastel wine festival! Dry Riesling in every sense, smell of wet slate (less of petrol), soaring acidity and medium body with a long finish. Crisp and clean with minerality and acidity dominant, minimal fruit flavors. — 6 years ago

Amazing how long lived these 01 Rieslings are. Honey, slate and lemon citrus, straw, with terrific balance. — 2 months ago
