Dark fruit, very smooth, excellent wine! — 7 years ago
Great wine. Had a smokey flavor when first opened that was over powering, as you continue to drink it and it opens up the flavors fully start to develop. There Is a plum/cherry flavor with a smooth vanilla finish. Would pair this with red meat. Lamb, some BBQ, steak. The flavors were awkwardly dancing as if it was there first dance at a middle school party. By the second hour of opening up, they were full fledged waltzing. It was a beautiful symphony of movement. Would absolutely get again. — 10 years ago

Delicious with auds chicken and Matilda birthday — 2 years ago
Old world wine that I’ll ponder later tonight in the dream world. Like a college 101 course in Barolo’s of another age. Leathery, tannic, balanced, dark cherry and plum, copper. A young gal out at her first dance, yet waltzing with the seductive wisdom of generations. Deeply grateful to know people who treat me to such divinity. — 3 years ago
Amazing. Full bodied, rich velvet, smooth finish. Awesome! — 7 years ago
Medium ruby, clear and bright all the way to the edge. Medium bodied nose with lots of berry, lavender and subtle spice notes. Soft, medium bodied mouth feel gushing with black cherry, raspberry and plum waltzing with coffee and savory spices. Finishes with a tick of graphite licorice and earthy textures. — 8 years ago

I can't name any other white wine producer anywhere in the world that would top @Jean-Marc Roulot for me right now. This wine is so elegant, so finessed, it's waltzing on the palate. Sensual, confident and mysterious at times — I couldn't wish for more. — 10 years ago
Quite a surprise. 🍺👍 — 11 years ago
By the glass at Matilda 159 restaurant — 2 years ago
Needed 3 hours of air to really open up.
Hour 1 was as inaccessible as Kilimanjaro.
Hour 2 was tightly wound and muscular.
Hour 3 was waltzing with raspberry, blackberry, currant, cedar, potting soil, caramel, mushroom, and green stems. Powerful stuff with a mineral backbone. Looking forward to trying on day 2. — 2 years ago

This is a very sophisticated Zin. Sophisticated as in raised-on-classical-but-moved-to-big-city-and-got-into-BillieEilish-but-go- waltzing-for-fun way. Shall I be textbook? Let’s.
Eye: medium ruby red thick big ol’ tears
Nose: leaps out! Licorice red/blue/black fruit but mostly like stewed dried cranberries and spice and vanilla bean
Tongue (mine) dry, medium acid, medium plush ripe tannins, high booze level (checking to see if I was correct)ohhhh 14.8! So yeah high abv.
Body is medium plus. Intensity medium plus. It’s all ripe and raisined purple plum, black cherries, blackberries and all of these fruits are dried and ripe plus a handful of blueberries and a slosh of vanilla bean liqueur and some allspice or even...velvet falernum. Finish is medium plus.
This is a Zin I want in my life forevs
