PnP. Dark red/maroon color. Cigarettes, BBQ, and incense on the nose. Similar on the palate. Fairly big wine. Not my style, but I’m sure others may love this. — 10 days ago

Elouan

Oregon Pinot Noir 2021

Really good Oregon Pinot Noir. Dark cherry, oak, cranberry and tins if vanilla and some mineral on the finish. Low tannins but enough acid to pair great with food. Great QPR for under $15 at Binny’s. — 25 days ago

The Four Graces

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2022

Steve & Paula Black pursued a dream in 2003 and purchased a 110-acre vineyard located in the Red Hills of Dundee creating The Four Graces, named after their four daughters. Medium Ruby with surprisingly complex aromas of red fruits, herb and spice. On the palate cherry and raspberry flavors with tea and espresso notes adding a bit of pepper spice. Well balanced acidity with fine tannins, medium(+) length, ending with earthy notes. Nice value! — 19 days ago

Cayuse Vineyards

Bionic Frog Walla Walla Valley Syrah

A garnet-purple color and expressive nose with that initial Cayuse funk and notes of red berries. smoked meat, herbs, bark and dusty like minerals. Taste: beautiful silky and soft feel. Red berry fruit stands out with gamey meat, iron & bitter chocolate notes and a metallic medium, plus finish. Was looking forward to opening this 2016 again and it did not disappoint! — 2 months ago
